The Brotherhood of Revelry Sailing Club (B.O.R.S.C) was started up by a group of RAF lads in 1951. They decided that they needed to do something different for their leave, so they came up to Norfolk and hired out the beautiful, traditionally-built, mahogany sailing cruisers from Percy Hunter's yard in Womack near Ludham

Over the years since 1951, many friends and family have joined (by invitation only) and left the group, who continue to hire the fleet (now the National Heritage Fleet) from Hunter's Yard. The fleet is still preserved in beautiful condition by Tom Grape and Graham Cooper. (The '51, in the year of the first B.O.R.S.C. expedition, represents the number of weeks in the year when the fleet is safe)!!

The group now conprises at least one of each of the following professional people:- teachers, airline pilots, master mariners, computer programmers, Royal Naval Lieutenant-Commanders, pharmacists, government research biologists, plumbers, policemen, postmen, essential oils experts, boat chandlers, corporate lawyers, aircraft fitters, a condom manufacturer (and paradoxically a tampon salesrep), Thames barge skippers........ a mixed bag. Sorry to anyone whose occupation I have missed off.
